Caring Together offer support to you if you are a carer in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough or Norfolk.

Their website has information on the support they have for adults and carers including groups for carers, emergecny planning and carer voice. There is also support and information available for young carers.

Caring Together offer homecare, which can play an important part in looking after the person you care for and in giving you a break. Caring Together also have information on subjects such as carer's assessments.

Carers UK want to make life better for carers. They offer expert advice, information and support, connect carers together so no one has to care alone and find new ways to reach and support carers and campaign.

Young Carers

Centre 33 provides support for young carers and young adult carers under the age of 25 who live in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

For young carers it can be beneficial for your parents and school to be aware that you are receiving support from Centre 33, however if you are 13 or over, we will always discuss this with you first.

Centre 33's services are confidential. 

 

 

The Children's Society

The Children's Society is a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people. Their website contains information for young carers and how they can access support.

The Include nationwide programme for young carers works so young carers don't let their extra responsibilities get in the way of school work or having fun. The Children's Society make sure you understand your rights and put yourself first every once in a while. 

 

 

Barnardo's

Barnrardo's aim to help as many young carers as they can. Barnardo's help young carers look after their loved ones and give them time to enjoy their childhoods. 

Barnardo's offer services across the UK. These include;  organising outings and activities for young carers, young carers advice and emotional support, help the family get support from social services, talk to the young carers school so teachers have a better understanding and finally Barnardo's also run drop-in centres where young carers can take a break, have fun, be a child – and meet other young carers.
