Community Butterfly Volunteer Service

It is our duty to ensure that end of life patients receive the care and support they need to live and die well. We will support hundreds of patients and families, through a brand-new volunteering programme called the Community Butterfly Volunteer Service. 

Our aim is provide company and companionship for patients in the last year of life. Our skilled and compassionate volunteers will visit patients who may not have visitors or whose family and friends need a break from the bedside. 

The project is funded through the NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough’s Healthier Future’s Fund and the Childwick Trust.
