Urgent and emergency support

Emergency recovery plan

The 'What If' plan

The 'What If' plan is a free service funded by Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council. It is there to look after adults with care needs during an emergency involving their carer. This scheme is run by Caring Together. Further information and how to register for a 'What If' plan can be found here. Caring Together will talk to you about what support the person you care for would need, if you were unable to help them for up to 48 hours. This way you do not have to panic about how the person you care for would manage if there was an emergency. You would simply request the plan to be activated.
