Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Pathway Workshop (26 June)

The workshop was well attended by system partners across the system and reviewed the current service offer to support Mental Health rehabilitation and identify areas of opportunity to enable us to create a rehabilitation pathway that will support our community.Workshop image

The workshop was led by Catherine Maxey, Consultant Psychiatrist, Interim Deputy Medical Director and E laine Deazley Morgan, Director of Improvement & Operations for the Mental Health, Learning Disability & Autism partnership  and included guest speakers Dr Sridevi Kalidindi, National Clinical Lead, Mental Health Rehabilitation and virtually Prof Helen Killaspy, Professor of Rehabilitation Psychiatry at the UCL Division of Psychiatry.

It provided the opportunity for system partners to understand our local mental health rehab offer within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and to identify what is needed in inpatient, locality and neighbourhoods mental Health rehabilitiation.

The next step will be to establish an oversight group to take forward the findings and next steps.


Community Transformation: Employment (2 July)

The aim of this workshop was to further connect and finalise mapping of employment support provided or commissioned in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area with a focus on mental health based provision. It was attended by a wide range of system partners including VCSE sector.Education workshop

The workshop was led by Fiona Kerr, VCSE Sector Influence and Participation Manager and Elaine Deazley-Morgan, Director of Improvement & Operations for the Mental Health, Learning Disability & Autism Partnership with guest speakers Katerina Lagoudaki, Assistant Director Strategy and Development and Rob Henchy, Project Manager from the Fenland Help Hub and ICS WorkWell Initiative for  Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Next steps will be to review the mapping collated, which will be shared across all our Neighbourhoods and will inform identifying gaps in provision and contributing to future opportunities.
