Trust Annual Members' Meeting: Children In Need CEO to be special guest

Simon Antrobus, CEO of BBC Children in Need, will be the special guest speaker at the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting.

He will give an insight into A Million and Me, the organisation’s Mental Health Investment Programme, during the meeting on Thursday 12 September at Burgess Hall, St Ives from 6pm to 8pm.

It will be preceded by a Council of Governors meeting from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, and refreshments will be available before the AMM begins.

Chair Eileen Milner said: “I am delighted that Simon has agreed to address our Annual Members’ Meeting. He will give a really fascinating insight into the work of Children In Need and how it is providing support to young people and their families which has distinct parallels with the work of many of our teams.”

Eileen, who will also address the meeting along with Interim CEO Scott Haldane, Director of Finance Lauren Gable and Lead Governor Andrea Hill, continued: “There has been much to celebrate at CPFT over the last year, but we will also reflect on the challenges we face as well as look ahead to our exciting plans for the year ahead. I hope as many people as possible will join us.”

All Foundation Trust members as well as members of the public can attend the meeting which is free of charge, but places are limited and anyone wishing to attend should register here by noon on Wednesday, 11 September.

CPFT employs more than 4,700 staff who provide community physical healthcare for older people and those with long-term conditions, mental healthcare for children and adults, children’s health services, learning disability support and social care support. The Trust is also renowned for its research work.
