How our service can help you

The Clozapine clinic is dedicated to monitoring the effects of Clozapine, which is an antipsychotic drug used in the treatment of people with schizophrenia.

The clinic manages mandatory weekly/two weekly/monthly blood monitoring, medicine dispensing, and physical health checks twice annually to assess the effects and side effects of the medication.

  • Business Hours/Visiting Hours: Tuesday: 9.30am-12.30pm and Wednesday: 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm. Visitors with patients are permitted.

Referral Information

  • Consultants refer for a physical health assessment when a patient is prescribed Clozapine.

Where to park and are there parking charges?

  • Parking is for staff only, but on-street parking is available nearby. 60p for 30 minutes, Devonshire Road (2hr), Ravensworth Gardens (4hr), rail station (8hr).

Is there access and support for patients and visitors with a disability?

  • The back entrance is used for patients with disability. Please call reception or buzz the intercom at the front of the building to alert staff so we can assist.

How to cancel your appointment

  • Please call reception on 01223 227500.

  • Please allow some time for your appointment.15 minutes slots are given for appointments.
