Winners crowned at CPFT Staff Awards 2023

There were joyous scenes as the Minor Injury Units staff (pictured) were named Team of the Year and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Talking Therapies scooped the Chair’s Award for Outstanding Performance at the CPFT Staff Awards 2023.

Twenty-three individuals and teams were shortlisted in a variety of categories at the awards which celebrate excellence and innovation.

The evening’s principal sponsor was Channel 3 Consulting and it was hosted by radio presenter Kev Lawrence.

A raffle held in aid of the Trust’s charity, Head to Toe, raised £1,500.

CEO Anna Hills told colleagues: “You live our values and put our patients, service-users and carers at the very centre of what you do. Thank you.”

Chair’s Award For Outstanding Performance: Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Talking Therapies
Service User Experience Awards: Medicines Domiciliary Team
Recovery Award; Individual Placement and Support Service
Service Improvement Award: Children's Community Occupational Therapy Team
Research Innovation Award: Healthy IO App (Sally-Ann Bradford and colleagues)
Staff Carer Award: Cara Cowie and Zoe Ruddell, Huntingdon Intermediate Care Team
Inspiration Award: Rob Ellis, Occupational Therapist Advanced Practitioner
Newcomer of the Year: Radu Babut, Dementia Nurse Specialist
