Take on Santa run – and be our charity’s big helpers!
Runners can enjoy some festive fun and raise money for Head to Toe, the official charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
Head to Toe is looking for participants to take part in the Stamford Santa Fun Run which is being held on Sunday, 10 December in the glorious surroundings of Burghley Park.
Anyone tackling the one, two or three-mile course in aid of Head to Toe will be raising vital funds for patients and staff at CPFT which provides community nursing and mental health care to around 150,000 people across the area each year.
Laura Semple, Fundraising and Engagement Lead for Head to Toe, said: “The Stamford Santa Fun Run is a fantastic family event, and it would be amazing if those taking part could run in aid of Head to Toe.
“Any money raised would benefit the patients our teams support as well as our dedicated NHS staff who work tirelessly to care for those who require the services of CPFT.”
All those taking part in the fun run get a free Santa suit to wear (if aged over four years old), a finisher’s medal, a mince pie, and a glass of mulled wine or a soft drink.
Entry costs and further information about the event can be found here.
To raise funds for Head to Toe - and receive a Christmas fundraising pack from the charity – set up a sponsorship page via Head to Toe’s Just Giving page here.
The fun run is organised by Stamford Striders and entrants’ registration fee will be split between Sue Ryder, Mindspace Stamford and The Rotary Club of Stamford.
CPFT, which employs more than 4,500 staff, provides community physical health services for older people and adults with long term conditions, mental health services, children community services in Peterborough and learning disability services. The Trust is also renowned for its research and development work.
