Steve Grange to be new Trust CEO

Steve Grange has been announced as the next Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Steve joins CPFT from Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where he is currently Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Strategy
.
Steve, who will take up his post on 1 October, said: “I am delighted to be joining CPFT as Chief Executive. I am passionate about community and mental health services and I am excited to begin this new role. CPFT is a fantastic organisation, and I am really looking forward to meeting teams in the coming weeks and months."

CPFT Chair Eileen Milner said: “Steve was the outstanding candidate from a hugely impressive range of applicants who wanted to come and lead our organisation. The recruitment process we have been through has been deliberately rigorous as our goal has always been to appoint an individual who brings experience, a track record and a leadership style that will allow CPFT to thrive and serve our communities in an ever better way. In Steve, I am confident we have found that person.”

Steve has previously held roles at the Department of Health and has worked with armed forces veterans in the United States. Scott Haldane, who returned as Interim CEO in February, will continue in that role until Steve joins the Trust.

CPFT, which employs more than 4,500 staff, provides learning disability services, community physical health services for older people and adults with long term conditions, mental health services, and children community services in Peterborough. The Trust is also renowned for its research and development work.
