NHS England leaders get warm welcome as they visit Trust and speak to staff and patients

Group of colleagues meeting Rachel Hearn and Vicky Luca from NHS England

Rachel Hearn, Director of Nursing at NHS England – East of England, met staff from across the Trust during a visit.

Rachel was joined by colleague, Vicky Luca, Assistant Director of System Coordination for the Regional Operations Directorate, when they came to Fulbourn Hospital in Cambridge.

They spent time with Chief Nurse Rachel Gomm, and Deputy Chief Nurse Mike Seaman before meeting colleagues from the Older People and Adult Community, Adult and Specialist Mental Health, and Children, Young People and Families directorates.

Interim Chief Allied Health Professional Jo Fishpoole, who co-ordinated the visit, said: “It was great to introduce Rachel and Vicky to our Trust so they could find out more about our services. It was also a welcome opportunity for our teams to share their on-going commitment to innovation, research, and quality improvement.

“I know how much they enjoyed speaking to staff and patients and we’ll look forward to them returning in the future.”
