Hundreds of staff to move to two new Trust locations

Finishing touches are being made to two new Trust bases that will house hundreds of staff.

Colleagues will be moving to the Town Hall and Phorpres Close in Peterborough from April.

The Town Hall site – officially 17 Bridge Street (pictured) – will be the home for a number of adult mental health and social care teams which were previously based at the Gloucester Centre, Orton Longueville.

Some outpatient appointments will take place at the site for service-users under the care of those teams.

Phorpres Close in Hampton will be the new base for some of the children’s services and learning and development teams along with administration colleagues moving from the Gloucester Centre, Commerce Road at Lynchwood, and a number of other sites.

Steph Stebbings, Estates Manager (North) for the Trust, said: “Both of these sites will offer improved facilities for our teams, and in the case of 17 Bridge Street for our service-users, because outpatient appointments will take place there.

"To have been able to continue these projects throughout the pandemic has been very challenging but we are very close to relocating our teams to their new homes.”
