Congratulations to our Healthcare Support Workers

Congratulations go to our Healthcare Support Workers, who were presented with the Silver NHS Pastoral Care Quality Award at a celebration event in Huntingdon this week.

This award is designed to support organisations to retain their Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs). It recognises that organisations are improving the experience of their HCSWs and that this is a continuous process. The award provides a lens through which organisations can think about their support workforce’s experience.

East of England Workforce Programme Manager Annalise Franklin, who presented the award, said: "This is an incredibly difficult award to achieve so huge congratulations go to CPFT. It really acknowledges the support offered by teams to support HCSWs in their roles. It's amazing that you have achieved this silver award - it's very well deserved."

HCSWs from across CPFT took part in the celebration event to kick off Healthcare Support Workers' Week. Staff listened to a number of special speakers and also saw presentations made to colleagues.
