CPFT Governor nominations open ahead of elections

Local residents interested in shaping the future of CPFT and having a say in important decisions are being encouraged to become a Governor at the Trust.

Nominations for the 2024 CPFT Governor Elections opened today (27 April) – including four staff Governors.

The Trust is looking for enthusiastic people who can bring their unique experience to the organisation, and they don’t have to be an expert in healthcare. Anyone over the age of 16 who lives in the UK is welcome to apply, but they must be a Member of the Trust and can join here.

The following 15 seats are up for election in (all for a term of 3 years):

  • 4 Patient Governors (2 Carers of Service Users, 1 Service Users Cambridgeshire, 1 Service Users Rest of England)
  • 7 Public Governors (4 Cambridgeshire, 3 Peterborough)
  • 4 Staff Governors

The closing date for nominations is 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April.
