Board of Directors

Led by a Non-Executive Chair, the CPFT Board of Directors is made up of a Trust Chair, Deputy Trust Chair/Senior Independent Director, five Non-Executive Directors, two Associate Non-Executive Directors, the Chief Executive Officer and six Executive Directors.
 
The Board is a unitary board responsible for ensuring that CPFT is accountable to the public for the services it manages.

Rachel Gomm, Interim Chief Nurse

Lead Executive Director for the Quality and Safety Committee.
Executive Committee Member for the Quality and Safety Committee.
Executive Committee Member for the People and Culture Committee.

With more than 30 years experience working in the NHS, Rachel is responsible for a diverse range of areas within CPFT, including patient experience, clinical effectiveness and compliance, patient safety, infection control and safeguarding, and Allied Health Professionals. A learning disability nurse by background, Rachel has held a range of clinical, service development and leadership positions in community and mental health settings for children and adults.
